Milford Sound or Nature, F&*! Yeah

Contrary to popular belief, the apocalypse will be wet, cold and beautiful.
In ciuda credintelor populare apocalipsa va fi uda, rece si foarte frumoasa.

We almost literally set sail, minus the sail, to what was advertised as:
Ne-am ridicat panzele, aproape la propriu dar fara panze, spre Milford Sound care in reclame arata asa:

instead we got treated to this:
in loc de asta, am primit:

In between, we got wet, scared of capsizing and back to worshiping the elemental forces. We were surrounded by mountains blanketed in waterfalls. Water pouring from the mountains towards us, covering slick glacier carved walls. When that was not enough, waterfalls streaming up or sideways in mad wars with the wind that pushed the boat around. I’ll let the images speak:

Intre timp am fost udati, speriati ca o sa ne scufundam si reintorsi la a venera fortele elementale fundamentale. Munti acoperiti in intregime de cascade aruncandu-se pe pereti drepti sapati in roca neagra de un fost ghetar. Apa siroind in general dinspre munti spre noi, dar de multe ori in sus, in lateral sau in orice directie o ducea razboiul dement cu vantul. In mijlocul spectacolului, nava noastra, irelevanta. O sa las imaginile sa vorbeasca.
