Confort zone

These past couple of days have been a lengthy trip out of my comfort zone.

First, we left Pakse with a sort of plan to visit the Bolaven Plateau and see the waterfalls. We were not sure about the transportation, not sure where we will sleep (I usually book ahead, here we were not sure about the town nightfall will find us) and not sure how many days we would be gone, out luggage waiting in pakse.

By the end of the first day we had succefully hitchicked, caught the last bus to Tatheng (and shared it with a motorbike), found what was probably the only guesthouse there and had ordered several unknown dishes in suspicious looking places. One of the highlight was both of us being offered company, repeatedy, by a local prostitute living in the same guesthouse. The last offer was at 3 am.

The second day we waited for busses at crossroads, again ate on shady places, rode a motorbike and caught the last bus to Pakse. We had nothing booked in Pakse but found a nice spot. The control freak in me is cathatonic:)
