Lao Cai spre Ha Giang

Dupa Sapa noaptea am petrecut-o in Lao Cai pentru a lua a doua zi de dimineatza microbuzul spre Ha Giang.

Seara in Lao Cai ne-am simtit aventurosi. Cristina s-a delectat descifrand menul de room service in vietnameza. Am pus in folosire noile gasite abilitati intrand intr-un fel de restaurant cantina plini de localnici. In menu Cristina a reusit sa localizeze prompt gaina. Am reusit sa mancam 2 copane de pui bine prajite.

Dimineatza, microbuz spre Ha Giang. Din nou suntem singurii non asiatici. Lumea pare simpatica, ne observa. Soferul incearca sa decoleze.

Tocmai s-a terminat privincia Lao Cai. Cu ea si asfaltul. Restul drumului pe un drum de pamant cu prapastie in stanga si peisaje superbe in zare. A plouat recent. Asta fara sa mentionez muzica vietnameza ce ne asigura fundalul sonor de cand am plecat. Soferul da mai tare pentru a ne ridica moralul.

Overnight in Lao Cai before catching the bus to Ha Giang tomorrow morning. Cristina had fun with the room service menu(all vietnamese) and we decided to put to good use her newly acquired linguistic skills by dining in a local restaurant where no english was spoken. We managed to order the chicken and it was good.

In the morning, 6:30 bus to Ha Giang. Only locals, us and vietnamese music. The driver is obviously a pro.

Lao Cai province just ended. With it the concrete. Dirt road from now on. It rained recently. Thankfully the driver raises the volume so we can enjoy better the vietnamese romantic hits and keep our spirits high.
